Overview

The Dispatch Optimizer validates driver qualifications against load requirements before allowing an assignment.

Refrigerated (reefer) moves alone will not trigger an error message.
An error is only displayed when a move is both:

• Refrigerated (Reefer) AND

• Marked as a GXP move

This ensures compliance with additional requirements tied to regulated shipments.

When This Error Occurs

The error condition is met only when all of the following apply:

• The move is classified as a refrigerated (reefer) load

• The move is also flagged as a GXP move

• The selected driver does not have the required certification or endorsement

• The assignment is attempted through the Dispatch Optimizer

Identifying a Reefer Move

Refrigerated (reefer) moves are identified directly on the move card within the Dispatch Optimizer.

When This Error Will NOT Occur

No error message will be displayed if:

• The move is reefer only (not marked as GXP)

• The driver does not have a reefer endorsement

✅ In this scenario, the system will still allow the assignment.

Why This Happens

For GXP-designated reefer moves, the system enforces stricter validation rules:

• Drivers must have the appropriate certifications tied to regulated or compliance-sensitive loads

• If the required endorsement is not present in the driver profile, the assignment is blocked

This validation does not apply to standard reefer moves, which is why no error appears in those cases.

How to Resolve

Option 1: Assign a Qualified Driver

1. Return to the driver selection list in Dispatch Optimizer

2. Search for or filter drivers with the required certification

3. Select a qualified driver

4. Complete the assignment

Option 2: Verify Driver Qualifications

If the selected driver should be qualified:

1. Navigate to the driver's profile

2. Review certifications or endorsements

3. Confirm required qualifications are properly recorded

4. If missing, follow internal process to update qualifications
