ADIP (J1) EMAIL AUTOMATION
Automated Document Ingestion Process or ADIP is an outlook email inbox used for processing interchanges. ADIP looks at the equipment moves on the Pro and not the order stops on the Pro. The trailer term field can be left blank on the order stops but if there is an equipment move that includes the Date, Driver, Equipment # and Location Profile that matches the interchange document, the system will recognize it and post to the applicable Pro #.
Drivers should update the individual railroad mobile apps. found on their tablets with the company J1 email address so that interchanges are received and posted automatically to the corresponding pro. Doing this will prevent drivers from having to use Power Direct to upload interchange receipts.
Currently the BNSF, CN, CSX, NS and UP railroads support ADIP. Each mobile app requires different steps to add the company J1 email address. If the rail app. allows it, driver should update the email contact to the below:
NOTE: Drivers cannot input their own email address to receive the interchange receipts and then forward them to the company J1 email address as the system will reject them. Interchanges must be received directly from the rail email address itself.
To inquire if another railroad (or possibly Port) in the market can be added to the ADIP process, send an email to the below email address:
